After a long day of school, kids need to let loose and have some fun. Parents want to know their kids are doing this in a safe and positive atmosphere. The Great Plains Family YMCA in Weatherford satisfies both sides with the Prime Time After School Program.
Prime Time is open to students in grades K-5. Transportation is provided from respective elementary schools in Weatherford to the YMCA. An afternoon snack is provided and activities include devotions, games, arts and crafts, sports, roller-skating, fitness days, and more. All activities are under the supervision of counselors who are caring, positive role models. Counselors are on duty until 6:00 p.m.
Some of the fun activities children may participate in are wall-climbing, roller-skating, swimming, arts and crafts, games and more. Children are under close supervision of qualified counselors who are caring, positive role models. Counselors are always available until 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Our program operates every day that school is in session.
Enrollment information may be picked up at the YMCA. As with all YMCA programs, financial assistance is available based on need. This assistance is limited. Forms are available at the YMCA office.
