The Great Plains Family YMCA Summer Camp is a full day child care program, which is an extension of the YMCA’s basic philosophy to help children realize their full physical, mental and spiritual potential in a trusting and stable setting.

The YMCA Summer Camp offers organized activities, which include roller-skating, swimming, field trips and arts & crafts projects. A weekly schedule of the outings and activities will be available to each camper every Thursday during the duration of the program. The schedule will include where the campers will be going each day, what the campers need to bring each day, what time we will leave the YMCA each day, what time we will be returning each day and what activities the campers will be doing each day.

The YMCA summer camp program opens at 6:30 a.m. and counselors are on duty until 6:00 p.m.
It is open to ages 5 & 6 (Kids Club) and 7-11 (Prime Time).

There is a monthly activity fee or you can sign up for all the field trips for the summer for one price. The Children are given a Camp T-Shirt and are encouraged to wear the Camp Shirt on Field Trip Days.
