The Great Plains Family YMCA is a membership organization open to all people. The YMCA welcomes women and men, girls and boys of all ages, races, ethnicities, religions, abilities and financial circumstances. Membership
YMCA Membership allows unlimited use of the facility and provides no-cost or reduced  fees on specialty classes and programs. You can visit as often as you like, participate in the group classes, use the facilities and equipment, and pay one low monthly or annual fee. Your satisfaction is guaranteed and there are no contracts to sign. Membership rates include a one-time joining fee.
Membership Benefits
- Use of all facilities including: 2 gyms, weight rooms, aerobics center, indoor walking track, racquetball courts, locker rooms, Jacuzzi, climbing wall, game room, TV lounge, and Carl Dunn Aquatic Center
- Free orientation of fitness equipment
- Reduced rates on all YMCA program fees including: youth sports programs, adult programs, swim lessons, and personal training.
- Unlimited participation in all fitness classes including: toning, cardio, and indoor cycling.
- Y Members Appreciation Day
- Access to 2,500 YMCA locations through the AWAY program

* Since our last membership rate increase, the federally-mandated minimum wage has gone from $5.85 to $7.25. This has a tremendous effect on salaries paid to our summer lifeguards, swim instructors, front desk staff, and child care teachers and summer day camp counselors. This is among many new financial pressures affecting our already streamlined budget. And, as a non-profit business, it is necessary to recoup a portion of increased operating costs by minimally raising the membership fees.
